Type of project: Camray was the main contractor for all restoration and finishes

This new research facility for sustainable energy managed by the University of Malta opened in around April 2016 in Marsaxlokk. This area has been renovated extensively since it had only consisted of various fields and a small unkept winding road. CAMRAY’s main job for this project was to completely renovate the area which mainly consist of the below tasks;

  • External restoration of facade and armoury ( English period )
  • Demolition and reconstruction of planter walls
  • Construction of  reinforced concrete platform
  • Internal finishes / gypsum walls , ceilings  / painting
  • Floor and wall tiles
  • Construction of boundary walls and fence
  • Landscaping , pavements and shrubs etc….
  • Fabrication of steel staircases and handrail
  • Electrical and Mechanical works
  • Internal doors
  • External windows
  • Construction of new carpark found just outside the premises

Highlights of the project: extensive landscaping works
